At Lawton Heights we try to have a number of small group Bible/Book Studies available for interested persons.  Here is a list of our currently available study groups.

Companions in Christ:  We currently have two group of CiC in the works.  The orginial material is a 28 week study in spiritual disciplines.  The supplememental works range from 6 to 9 week each and deal with various topics as related to one's spiritual life.  These groups are closed to outsiders after the third week in oerder to maintain the trust and confidentiality levels necessary to allow them to function as they should.  One new group forms every year, so come let us know if you're interested in forming a new group.

Pastor's Book Club:  This group of reading fanatics meets the last Sunday of every month after the morning worship to eat and discuss the latest book provided by the pastor.  It's a wonderful opportunity to learn something new in your Christian journey.  Books are not always about religious topics, but do have a spiritual quality about them.

Year Through The Bible: This is for people who are interested in reading through the entire Bible in one year's time.  It meets the last Friday evening of the month in the parsonage.  A meal is provided as we discuss the readings for the past month.  A great opportunity to ask questions about confusing passages or just to gain some deeper insight into the world of the Bible.
